Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
North Leigh – New Yatt Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 7 January 2019
Coming into force: 14 January 2019
This Order is being introduced because of the construction of manholes and new sewer connection works which are anticipated to take till the 8 February 2019 to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in part of New Yatt Road between New Yatt Lane and Green Lane.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is Common Road – A4095 – A4095 Woodstock Road - Woodgreen – New Yatt Road & vice-versa.
