Former local paperboy Liam Walker is hoping to secure your support this May. He's been used to delivering the local newspapers in the village but now he wants to deliver for you at County Hall.
On Thursday 4th May residents will head to the polling stations to decide who will stand up for them as the new County Councillor for the Hanborough and Minster Lovell Division.
Hoping to secure your backing is Liam Walker who grew up in Minster Lovell and is a familiar face to locals. Liam has recently launched his six-point plan for our community where he outlined his plans to help reduce speeding in villages, tackle potholes and ensure we continue to look after the elderly.
Liam Walker said "I am really excited about this election and I'm delighted to be standing in not just an area of our community that I love but to be able to represent the village where I grew up would be a huge honour. I know the problems facing our community because I have lived and worked in West Oxfordshire all my life. I believe that by working together we can make a real change locally."
Liam has secured the backing from many residents, business people and from Witney and West Oxfordshire MP Robert Courts.
Robert said "I've known Liam for a number of years and I've seen his dedication for our local community first hand. Liam's energy and passion will be a huge advantage to the community. I encourage residents to vote for Liam Walker on Thursday 4th May - he won't let you down!"
Polling stations for the election are open from 7am-10pm with the result announced on Friday 5th May. For more information about Liam Walker and his campaign visit www.liam-walker.com or if you can help with Liam's campaign email him: liamwalker.oxon@outlook.com
